APAPA National Governing Board Member Simon Pang Receives Coveted White House Appointment

SACRAMENTO – The Asian Pacific Islander Public Affairs Association (APAPA) announces the appointment of its National Governing Board (NGB) member Simon Pang to the President Advisory Commission on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. Appointed to APAPA’s NGB in 2020, Pang is also the National Diversity Coalition Advisor for the non-profit organization. He is also the Executive Vice President/Co-Founder of Royal Business Bank.  Click here to learn more about the purpose and goal of the White House’s appointment.

“Congratulations to APAPA NGB member Simon Pang on this coveted appointment. With Simon’s economic and finance background, he will provide valuable insight to the White House as we are aware Asian American small business owners were disproportionately affected by the pandemic. APAPA is extremely proud that Simon will serve as a strong voice for California,” said C.C Yin, founder of APAPA.

“I am so honored to receive this once-in-a lifetime national appointment and I am proud to be an advocate for the AANHPI community in California. As a business-minded individual, I hope to use my experience and background to help provide guidance to our small businesses as they are the backbone of America’s economy. I look forward to working with former California Attorney General Xavier Becerra who will lead this new White House initiative,” said Simon Pang, appointee and APAPA NGB board member.
