Davis Chapter Makes the Local News

Our chapter was honored to have two wonderful articles in the Davis Enterprise during Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month! Both articles gave us a great opportunity to share what we are doing with the Davis community and promote our organization. We are so grateful for the support we have received from the Davis community!

APAPA Davis Chapter's Annual Retreat

The retreat was a great opportunity for APAPA members to meet, learn and discuss issues related to Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. APAPA at UC Davis members were in attendance too. Coming out of the retreat, both groups have developed priorities and have already started planning for a successful 2023–2024!

APAPA Youth Leadership Academy

APAPA Davis Chapter, in collaboration with the APAPA Greater Sacramento Chapter, held APAPA's most recent Youth Leadership Academy (YLA). This recurring program focuses on developing civically engaged young leaders who want to make a difference in the civic life of our their communities and beyond. Participants chose between four programs in which they receive a lectures and activities on topics ranging from personal development, leadership, civic engagement and career path planning. YLA will continues to be a great opportunity for attendees to meet experts in various career fields, network with professionals, and develop personal and leadership skills.
