SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — There was a full house at the Marines Memorial Club in San Francisco as hundreds of community organizers and elected leaders gathered for the inaugural Amplifying Asian Voices gala.

Co-hosted by KRON4’s Stephanie Lin, the evening celebrated the strength of the AAPI vote this past election season. A number of Bay Area leaders were honored, including President of Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, Carl Chan, retired teacher, Marlene Tran, and President of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Rodney Fong.
