As we all know, language is a form of art. Those who are eloquent in communication are usually presented with more opportunities. Yet, for those to whom English is a second language, developing such skill is critical to their success in this society. Hence, APAPA Tri-Valley decided to sponsor such event in the region to encourage local immigrants and native speakers alike to sharpen their communication skill and step up in their endeavor and involvement in the society. With such support, Toastmaster has opened up its latest club in San Ramon last Sunday. Mr.Tod was the host of this event. His confidence in his presence, humor in his speech, and professional coaching has inspired every members to step up to the podium to speak. The event was filled with constant applause for the various speakers. Members started to forget that English was indeed their second language, their fear subsided as they started to build up their confidence little by little.
Through this first gathering, members quickly developed its core structure and all were looking forward to the next meeting.
