We are excited to welcome you to the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association – Solano County Chapter Website. Solano County is home to over 64,000 Asians and Pacific Islanders, comprised of business owners, entrepreneurs, educators, professionals, workers, students, volunteers and community leaders. The Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community contributes to the economic, cultural, civic, and social fabric of Solano County ensuring a better future for all county residents.
The Solano County Chapter was officially launched on August 1, 2015. It was established to serve and empower our growing API community in civic and public affairs through education, active participation and leadership development.
It is our honor and privilege to lead this organization of elite and distinguished officers and board members. This distinct honor, we owe to CC Yin – API Public Affairs Association founder, husband, father, educator and philanthropist to whom we are profoundly grateful and will always be indebted for an experience of a lifetime.
We also want to express our deepest gratitude to our sponsors, business partners, program advertisers, benefactors and donors who made our grand opening a tremendous success. We salute you for your unsurpassed generosity. A big thank you goes to the numerous community partners who unselfishly came forward to join and support our cause. A million thanks to the many elected officials and constitutional officers, who graced and witnessed this momentous event, who served as inspirations and provided words of wisdom and encouragement. The Solano Chapter received numerous certificates of recognition from all levels of government including the federal, state, and county offices.
Our goal is to make APAPA-SOC a model chapter. With a strong team of high caliber individuals and committed volunteers, we are confident that we can achieve this goal and are excited you have all elected to be a part of this.
