Andrew Jeng graduated from the Central Police University in Taiwan with a Bachelor of Law degree and then earned his Masters in Management Information System from the New York Institute of Technology. He has been extensively involved with different companies and organizations.
In the past, Andrew was involved with the Asian American Heritage Council, the Boys & Girls Club at Universal in Orlando, Senior First of Orlando and the Orlando Mayor’s Martin Luther King Commission. He is the President of APAPA- Central Florida Chapter, President of Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, Principal of Kissimmee Chinese School. Additionally, he owned the computer IT company and digital multi-media broadcasting company.
Muthusamy V. Swami
Muthusamy V. Swami, Vice President
Dr. Swami holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and has been with Florida Solar Energy Center since 1982. He is currently a Program Director and leads the analytical research and software capability development at the center. Dr. Swami has over 30 years of experience in buildings research especially in the area of building energy conservation and use.
Dr Swami has been active in the community serving as the president of Muthamizh Sangam of Central Florida (MSCF) for over five years. MSCF is a non-profit organization devoted to the awareness and promotion of Tamil Culture in Central Florida with a vision to bring together all Tamil families who migrate into the Central Florida region. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of MSCF for several years. In addition, Dr. Swami was the President of the Hindu Society of Central Florida (HSCF) for the years 2012-2013 and served in its Governing Council. HSCF’s focal point is the Hindu Temple in Casselberry and is the cultural, spiritual and educational center for Central Florida Hindus. He also served APAPA as its Vice President for Community Outreach in the Orlando Area.
Our mission is to empower Asian and Pacific Islander (API) Americans through education and active participation in civic and public affairs. The organization educates the public about public policy and provides opportunities for our youth to gain firsthand knowledge and experience in governmental and public affairs.
